This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you visit our website, request a demo, create an account, or use Ropter. 2. Information We Collect
- Account information: Name, email address, company name, and contact details you provide during registration, onboarding, or via the demo request form on ropter.io.
- CRM data: Deal records, contact records, and activity data imported from your connected CRM (for example, Pipedrive) for the purpose of AI analysis, summarization, and delivering sales intelligence within Ropter.
- Usage data: Pages visited on our website, features used in the product, device and browser information, and interaction data collected via cookies and analytics tools.
We collect only what is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and improve the service, unless you voluntarily provide additional information (for example, in support conversations).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Ropter service, including AI-powered sales insights derived from your CRM data.
- To authenticate users, manage accounts, and respond to support requests.
- To communicate with you about your account, product updates, security notices, and marketing where permitted and in line with your preferences.

Your CRM data is imported, processed (including summarization through AI), and stored securely in our systems hosted on cloud infrastructure. We implement organizational and technical measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We do not sell your personal information or your CRM data to third parties.

We use cookies and similar technologies on ropter.io to remember preferences, maintain security, and measure performance. We also use third-party analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand visitor behavior and improve the website. Under applicable Indian data protection and privacy law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies to our processing), you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India or other competent authority as provided by law.
